Funeral services for Cody Purvis Barron, III., 62, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ken Brumley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial is in Liberty Cemetery.
Cody passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Tyler.
He was born on November 20, 1952 in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Cody Purvis Barron,II. and Virgielene Wicker Barron. Cody was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and active in the singles department. He was a loving brother and uncle and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his mother, Delo Barron, of Tyler; brothers, Richard Barron and Mike Barron, both of Tyler, Randy Greer and wife Becky, of Gonzales and Marty Greer and wife Donna, of The Woodlands; sisters, Diann Mobley and husband David, of Houston and Krystie McGowan and husband Dwight, of Bullard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cody was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M., Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
