Colby attended Whitehouse High School and graduated in 2010. Throughout his years in school, Colby played and excelled at football. It was very rare that he wouldn’t have a football at his disposal for a quick game. His love for music and writing lyrics was a very prevalent passion of his. Various construction jobs proved his dexterous abilities and provided satisfaction in seeing a finished product. Colby was a proficient hunter, fisher and outdoors man. He, very much like nature, had a push and pull personality. The beauty the outdoors can have with the evils of Mother Nature. Colby was the embodiment of Yin and Yang, he could be a hurricane or a gently moving creek. He went 0-100mph almost always, if you stopped to blink he’d be gone.
Passionate, energetic, loving, committed and a jokester are only a few words to describe what this man was and how he impacted people in his life. There’s not a soul that has been graced by his presence that won’t feel the sting of his absence on this earth. Colby spent his last years fighting for his family and trying to provide. His hard working attitude and pure motivation kept him constantly trying to gain another step in life, to get better.
Colby will be missed, he will be mourned, he is loved. Colby is now at peace, his mind is silenced, he can sleep. Whether he is the next shadow by your side or the cardinal in the yard, we will always be thinking of you.
It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.
