

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Bonnie Stanley; his brother Kenneth Stanley; and his wife Mary Stanley. Donald was retired from Tyler Pipe where he had worked from the age of 18 and he spent his retirement years on his lawnmower. He loved mowing for those you couldn't mow for themselves or afford to pay for the service. Mr. Stanley was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister Lurline Cooper; brother Jerry Stanley; as well as his children; Debora Stanley Burkett and husband Robert of Flint, Karren Stanley Comer and husband Steve of Flint, Donny Stanley and wife Amber of Chapel Hill, Tracy Stanley of Tyler, Donna Stanley Phipps and husband Sammy of Tyler, Jimmy Crabtree and wife Sandra of Bullard, and Tara Halsey of Tyler; 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers for Mr. Stanley will be his ten grandsons.
Don Stanley was a kindhearted and gentle soul and was loved not only by his family, but by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed.
