Graveside services for Glenn W. Tally are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana, Texas. Reverend Richard Luna will be officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.
Mr. Tally was born August 2, 1923 in Purdon (Navarro County), Texas to the late Claude and Myrtle Whittenburg Tally. He graduated from Corsicana High School Navarro College and Baylor University. He served in the Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. He retired as an accountant with Texas Power and Light and TXU after 35 years of service. He had lived in Tyler since 1972 and was a member of Pollard Memorial United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy McClintock Tally and his brother, Billy Joe Tally.
Survivors include niece, Belinda Tally Payne and husband, Billy and their son, Pace all of Corsicana, Texas.
