

with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Ruth Lewis Woodring.
Henry is survived by his daughter Cathy Smith, and his two sons, Gary Woodring and Wayne Woodring;
his son-in-law, Russell Smith of Seattle, WA; his daughter-in-law, Joanne Woodring, and his daughter-in-
law, Carolyn Woodring, both of Tyler. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, David Smith, of
Chandler, Al, Alisha Brummett of Sammamish, WA, Caroline Woodring of Malden, MA, Jennifer Lee,
Joshua Woodring, and Bryan Woodring, all of Tyler. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren,
Taylor Smith, Hannah Lee, Emma Lee, Lauren Brummett, Morgan Smith, Sabrina Brummett, and Gabriel
Lee.
Henry was born in North Carolina on April 12, 1921, and is survived by Dave Woodring, Gene Woodring,
Grace Trivette, Ray Woodring, and preceded in death by Verlie Woodring, Carl Woodring, Jake
Woodring, and Bob Woodring.
Henry will always be remembered for his love for God, for always treating people fairly, and the
incredible sacrifices he made for his family. He served in the military for 4 years during World War II.
A graveside service will be at Cathedral in the Pines in Tyler, at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service
scheduled for 11:00 am at the Tyler Sabbath Fellowship, 14151 Rhones Quarter Road, on Saturday,
May 21, 2011. Honorary pallbearers are David Smith, Joshua Woodring, Bryan Woodring, Russell Smith, Stephen Lee and Andrew Brummett.
