Services for Iva V. Hurst, 90, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurst passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born on June 13, 1921 in Shelby County to the late R. H. and Beulah Oates. She was a 52 year member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, James Hurst of Whitehouse and Robert and Mary Hurst of Lindale; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Williams of Longview and Bobbie Coffman of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
