He is survived by his wife Kay, his son David and wife Tina of Canton, his daughter Susan Taylor and husband Rick of Whitehouse, grandchildren Ericka Taylor of Tyler and Logan Taylor of Dallas and sister Margret Percival of Ladner, B.C., Canada.
Memorial Services will be performed by Rev. Steve Ditmore at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Friday January 6th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas 75701.
