Juan Pablo Martinez

A Memorial Mass for Juan Pablo Martinez, 31, of Tyler, is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 22, 2014, at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Inurnment is in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.

Juan passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Tyler.

He was born on June 29, 1983 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Marcos and Hermelinda Medina Martinez.

Juan was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was the Traditional Reservist of the year and received numerous other awards and citations. He worked as a department manager for Walmart for many years. Juan loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Martinez and sons, Damian Martinez and Dante Martinez, all of Tyler; parents, Marcos and Hermelinda Martinez, of Tyler; sisters, Faviola Martinez and Lupe Martinez, of Tyler; brothers, Julio Martinez and Marcos Martinez, Jr., of Tyler, and Marco Antonio Martinez, of Mexico; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family.

A memorial visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
