Services for Julia Faye Collins, 78, of Tyler, are scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel under the direction of Monsignor Joe Strickland, Graveside will be at 3 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, also on Tuesday.
Ms. Collins was born in Axtell on Nov. 27, 1932 to the late Edward Patrick and Mamie Yowell Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Trent and George Moore; and her son, Chris Collins. She is survived by her sister, Anna Ruth White of Waco; her brother, John Moore and Wife Louise of Waco; sister-in-law, Dorothy Moore and Alma Robers of Waco; her daughter, Kay Collins of Tyler; son, Russell Collins and wife Gail of Tyler; son, Chet Collins and wife Bradi of Lindale; and five grandchildren, Hudson Collins, Jason Hood, Jamie Rains and Kyle and Karli Tullis.
Pallbearers will be Grant White, Tom White, Dallas White, Larry Moore, Eddie Moore and George Moore.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 11 at the Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel with a visitation to follow.
