Services for Larry Grayson, 73, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alton Hodnett officiating. Burial will be at Tyler Memorial Park.

He passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 in Tyler

He was born on May 10, 1937 in Newellton, Louisiana to the late Willy B. and Arnell Blackwell Grayson. He was raised by his “Aunt Jo”, Josephine Grayson. He was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church and was retired from the City of Tyler as a fleet maintenance supervisor. He served in the

U. S. Army and was a member of Timpson Masonic Lodge #437 and Tyler Lodge #1233.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Gremillion.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Grayson of Tyler; sons, Jerry Grayson of Worcester, Ohio and Kyle Williams of Tyler; daughter Marcelyn Landry and her daughter, Wyn Landry of New Orleans, Louisiana; step-mother, Martha Grayson of Louisiana; aunt, Josephine Grayson of Melville, Louisiana; brothers, Jimmy Grayson of Palmetto, Louisiana and Michael Grayson of Marksville, Louisiana; sister, Linda Leneau of Simmesport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Cheromie Gremillion of Baton Rouge, LA and Derek Gremillion of Simmesport, Louisiana; great granddaughter, Harleigh Judith Kay Hubbard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.
