

Services for Lois Marie Brownlee, 89, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral chapel with Rev. Larry W. Craig officiating. Burial is in Bascom Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brownlee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 11, 2012.
She was born to the late Leta Mae and James L. Sanders on April 3, 1922 in Tyler. She was a member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church and the Mary Sunday School class. She graduated from Tyler High School in 1939 and married Jim Brownlee on May 30, 1942. They were married for 51 years when he passed away on June 3, 1993. She worked for 21 years for American Clay in production and retired in 1975. The Brownlees moved to Caddo Lake where they enjoyed working in the garden and yard and did a lot of fishing. She moved back to Tyler in 1999 and enjoyed playing 42 with friends.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Winnie Glasscock, Lucille McFarland and Opal Gerard; three brothers, Ferrell Sanders, Frank Sanders and J. L. Sanders. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Val Sanders, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
