

Memorial services for Loretta M. Moore, 79, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel in Tyler with Rev. Sherman Mayfield and Bill Metzroth officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 in Tyler.
She was born on January 12, 1934 in Galveston to the late Albert Truman and Ella Mae Comeaux Schultz. She moved to Texas City at the age of 13 months where she remained until 1996. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Moore, in 1951 at the age of 17 and remained with him until her death. She worked as a legal secretary for John Shirley Law Firm and was a Presbyterian. Her proudest family moments were when her four oldest children got married in 1974. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and an avid gardener. She will truly be missed by all.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Selma Schultz.
She is survived by her husband, James J. Moore of Tyler; daughters, Cheryl and Greg Goff of Round Rock, Teri and Ray Dobbs of Crawford, Karan and Bill Metzroth of Lake Jackson; sons, Mike and Sharon Moore of Bellevue, NE, David and Carolyn Moore of Portland, OR; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Talbot of Hitchcock and Shirley Hammonds and husband Wayne of Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
