Graveside services for Margaret Imogene Harrison, 89, of Frisco are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Rev. Allison Thompson officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrison passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Frisco.
She was born on October 11, 1921 in Rice to the late Robert Everett and Jewel Lacy Smith. She was a cosmetologist and a member of Marvin United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful cook and once had an article written and published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph about that talent. She loved to walk and walked two-three miles daily up into her 80’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Harrison, a veteran of WW II.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Denny Phillips of Frisco; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Mary Harrison of New Orleans, Louisiana, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church, 300 W. Erwin, Tyler, 75702.
