Margie "Nana" Ann Barnes Tuck

Mass of Christian burial for Margie “Nana” Ann Barnes Tuck, 74, of Flint is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Very Rev. Anthony McLaughlin, JCD officiating. Burial is in Laurel Land Cemetery at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Dallas under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tuck passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 in Flint.

She was born on August 4, 1937 in Mt. Vernon to the late Wesley E. and Dessie Langford Barnes. She served in the U. S. Navy in Vietnam and later retired from SW Bell. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and had lived in the Tyler area since 1991. She founded the area Naval Sea Cadet program. She worked at Bullard High School.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and John Sousa of Flint; sister, Patsy Upchurch of Tyler; grandchildren, Laura, Stephen and Michael Razis, Tiana Ballard, Jackson, Sara and Megan Robinson and great grandchildren, Leah and Sophia Razis

Rosary is at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday with visitation following until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
