A mass of Christian burial for Maria De la Paz Ordorica, 57, of Tyler is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday June 11, 2012 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Msgr. Joseph Strickland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ordorica passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Tyler.
She was born on November 11, 1954 in Huanusco Zac, Mexico to the late Anastacio Rivera and Francisca Medina. She was the owner of Taqueria El Lugar for 21 years. She dearly loved her family and was a great wife. She would do anything for others, loved to make people laugh and was also a great advisor to others.
She is survived by her husband, Vincente Ordorica; children, Juan Carlos, Vincente, Oscar, Ulises, Edgar and Sonia Ordorica; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Sunday and the rosary will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
