Martha, my friend, you are gone much too soon. There will be many wonderful memories to be shared now and forever. You were loved by so many friends, and family. I was lucky to be counted among your friends. We will meet again some day and rejoice in the Lord, singing His Praises. Much love girlfriend.

I didn't know Martha too well but remember her from high school carrying her books and she always seemed to keep very busy! She was a very sweet person. I am sorry she left so soon, she will be missed and she is in my thoughts.

Martha’s daughter, Amy, and my daughter, Kaity, were best friends throughout elementary and middle school. This meant many sleepovers, birthday parties, and Girl Scout camp outs and activities. They were in dance classes together for several years through Dance ‘N Drill and I had the pleasure of teaching Amy in sixth grade at Cumberland Academy. I have many memories talking with Martha at our daughters’ activities. We spent countless hours talking about life and family. She was a wonderful listener and a good friend. She will be sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of teaching Amy. Martha was a wonderful parent to work with and always offered a helping hand. Her love for her daughter was immeasurable. Sadly we only reconnected a short time ago on Facebook.. I enjoyed seeing the Lucille Ball posts and always knew immediately who was sharing them. Maybe she is up there making her laugh right now:)
