Mary Virginia Shaddox

Services for Mary Virginia Shaddox, 78, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dave Walker and Rev. Lindell Watson officiating. Burial is at Bascom Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shaddox went home February 13th 2011 to be with her lord and savior who she had served all of her life.

She was born on August 26, 1932 in Lockesburg, Arkansas to the late Walter Reuel and Lillian B. Norwood Little. She was a member of Lakeview Church of Nazarene, a homemaker and had lived in Tyler for 65 years and had many special friends and church members that she loved dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby and Bill Shaddox both of Tyler; grandson, Michael Wilson Shaddox, brother, Bucky Little and wife Shirley of Winona; sister, Ruby Butt and husband Kenneth of Tyler; nephews Billy John Scruggs, Eddie Little, J. P. Hendrix, Dekota Wallsworth, nieces, Barbara Robbins and husband Karl, Becky Martin and husband Don, Lisa Wallsworth and husband Dester, Tarya Scruggs, Amber Hendrix, Magan Hendrix, Shawna Justis, Brenda Bruner, Beth Barnett, and Lexie Wallsworth

She was preceded in death by her loving husband and love of her life Jesse Shaddox, mother Lillian Little, father Reuel Little and brother Rev. Buddy Little.

Pallbearers are Kyle Anderson, Leonard Craig, Brian Frazier, Stuart Hilburn, Billy John Scruggs and Herbert Buie. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Challengers Sunday School Class of Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
