Noel was born on March 24, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Noel Pautsky Sr. and Arbie Pautsky. He grew up in Holliday, Texas, and later lived in nearby Wichita Falls, where he met his beloved wife, Carmen.
At the age of 18, Noel dedicated his life to our Lord Jesus Christ and spent the rest of his days striving to serve Him. As a young man, he spent time in Nigeria with a mission group helping to spread the gospel—an experience he remembered fondly throughout his life. He came from a family involved in the oil and gas industry, but Noel had little interest in material possessions or worldly achievements. Instead, he chose a life centered on faith, kindness, and the simple joys around him.
Noel was my father, and he was the best anyone could ask for. He was a genuinely kind and caring person who was always quick to offer help and encouragement to anyone in need. He truly enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved being outdoors—camping and fishing—and he was especially fascinated with astronomy. He would spend hours learning about the stars and teaching me different constellations. One of his favorite hobbies was the game of chess; he appreciated the beauty of the game and was quite good at it. Most of all, he loved spending time with and taking care of those around him. His kindness and warmth were a direct reflection of his deep faith and love for Jesus.
He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Carmen; his son, Jacob Pautsky, and Jacob’s wife, Lindsey Pautsky, whom he loved and appreciated; his grandchildren, Emily and Caleb Pautsky, of whom he was so very proud; and his brother, Tom Hudson whom he cherished for his kindness and direction. He was preceded in death by his siblings Sandra Pautsky, Norman Pautsky, Jimmy Pautsky, and Sara Stewart.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Cemetery in Arp, Texas.
Noel’s gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and love for his family will live on in all of us. We take comfort knowing he is now home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
