Mrs. Priddy passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2016, at Atria-Copeland.
She was born February 9, 1939, in the Black Jack community, to Jimmie Allen and Vada Sally (Hitt) Morgan, but was raised in the Oakland community, between Canton and Grand Saline.

A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, she devoted her life to caring for others. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; husband, Owen Priddy; sister, Wynona Poole; brothers, Jimmie, Johnnie, Ernest Ray, Billy, and Ralph Morgan; and son-in-law, Alan David Haynes.
Mrs. Priddy is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Karen Priddy; daughter, Karla Haynes; and grandchildren, Kaleb Haynes and Cheyenne Priddy, all of Tyler; brother, Bobby Morgan of Oakland community; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Honorary pallbearers are Kaleb Haynes, Chris Jerger, Sam Walker, Mike Burton, Tony Morgan and Mike King.
Her family is especially grateful to the staff at Atria-Copeland, who lovingly cared for Mrs. Priddy for the past 6 ½ years.
