

Teresa Ann Carvajal, Jr. age 56, of Conroe passed away on December 25, 2015 peacefully and surrounded by her brothers and sisters. She was born in Shreveport, LA to Joe Vasquez and Teresa Cruz Carvajal. Teresa Ann attended St. Gregory Elementary School in Tyler, Our Lady of Fatima in Monroe, LA, Bishop Thomas K. Gorman High School in Tyler, and Robert E Lee High School in Houston. She was graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. She was a member of the Texas Alpha Phi Omega fraternity and participated in their service projects, and ran the Texas flag at UT sporting events. Teresa Ann was a season ticket holder for the Longhorn football games, and women’s basketball games. She loved her family, friends, country, the Dallas Cowboys, and loved to celebrate life and happenings.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Maria Mata, Clara McBroom, Guadalupe Carvajal, Steve Carvajal, Felipe Carvajal, Tony Carvajal, and Joe Carvajal; her nieces and nephew, Michelle Simmons, Frieschelsea Anguilar, Marisol Kelly Millan, Michael Carvajal, Clarissa Moran, and Jackie Mendez; seven great nieces and nephews; brother by choice Terry Lancaster; and her fiancé, Clint Brock.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 6:00 p.m. Formal visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
