Twyla Hogden

Funeral services for Twyla Mae Samuelson Hogden, 68, of Whitehouse, are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Whitehouse Church of Christ with Dr. Jay Lockhart officiating. Burial will be at Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Twyla passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 in Whitehouse.

Twyla was born on June 18, 1948 in Newgulf, Texas to the late William Francis Samuelson and Fannie Garrett Samuelson.

She was married to Danny Hogden on February 15, 1969.

Twyla is survived by son, David Hogden, of Whitehouse; daughter, Leah Trimble and husband John, of Whitehouse; 5 grandchildren: Zachary, Lindsey and Britney Trimble, and Erica and Rachel Hogden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Billie L. Newton.

Pallbearers will be John and Zachary Trimble, Les Newton, Steve and Sheldon Perry, and Joe Whitten. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Neeland and Don Newton.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 11am, at Whitehouse Church of Christ, prior to the service on Saturday.
