Vicki Lynn Jackson, beloved wife, mother, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on September 2, 1945, Vicki lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and her students.
She was married to her husband, William Norman Jackson, for 60 years until his passing, and together they built a life filled with love, resilience, and faith. Vicki was also preceded in death by her son, Jerral Jackson. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Jackson and his husband, Antonio Beltran, as well as her two sisters, Debbie Drewry and Phyllis Wilson. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory and the warmth she brought to their lives.
For more than thirty years, Vicki dedicated herself to teaching mathematics at both the high school and junior high levels. She inspired countless students with her patience, wisdom, and unwavering belief in the power of education. Her legacy as an educator lives on in the many lives she touched and the generations she helped shape.
Beyond the classroom, Vicki was a devoted Christian and an active member of her church. She was a valued teacher of children in Sunday School classes. Her faith guided her daily life, and she found joy in serving her community and uplifting others with kindness and compassion.
Vicki’s life was a testament to love, service, and faith. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her dedication to her family, and her steadfast commitment to her students and church. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home, located at 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 757013308, on December 9, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 11:00 am.
Vicki Lynn Jackson's final resting place will be Cathedral In The Pines, situated at 7825 S Broadway Ave, Tyler.
