Services for Wayne Frank Zatopek, 68, of Arp are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Derek Dittrich of Calvary Baptist Church of Hamilton, Texas officiating.
Mr. Zatopek passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born on June 1, 1943 in Temple, Texas to the late Frank John and Wilma Buster Zatopek. He was a Professor of Sociology at Tarrant County College-Northeast Campus for 36 years, retiring in 2006.
He is survived by wife, Kathryn Morrison Zatopek of Tyler; step daughter and her husband; Tina and Derek Dittrich of Hamilton, Texas; step daughter and her husband, Meg and Ryan Brown of Temple, Texas; sister, Anita Zatopek of Houston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Lyndon James; five grandchildren, Shelby and Tayler Dittrich, Ethan, Addison and Rylann Brown.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Texas Food Bank, 3201 Robertson Road, Tyler, Texas 75701.
