James J. Dewan of Jersey City passed away on Friday 5/21/10 at the Cusack Care Center in Jersey City. He was born in Jersey City and lived there most of his life. He worked for several years as a custodian for St. Anne’s School in Jersey City before retiring.
He was the beloved husband of Lorraine Dewan (nee Pavlichko) and the devoted father of James Dewan Jr. He was also the dear father in law of Megan Dewan and the loving grandfather of; James and Nicholas Dewan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Tuesday 5/25/10 at 9am at the Leber Funeral Home then to St. Anne’s Church where at 10am a funeral mass will be offered. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
