Devoted husband of Vilma (Nee Cepeda) Beloved son of John W. & Ella Linde (deceased) step-mother Anne Marie Linde, Cherished Father of Victoria and Erika, Dear brother of Regina, Jennifer and Robert Linde, Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Union Hill High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1996, serving first with a military police company at Fort Carson, Colo. In 2000, peacekeeping took him to Bosnia, where he served for seven months. He earned a Bronze Star fighting off an attack on a convoy during his first tour in Iraq, in 2005 and 2006. In Nov 5, 2007 expired in the line of duty.
He will always be remembered as a loving son, devoted husband and loving father but most of all OUR HERO.
