Vito Carluccio died on Saturday 7/25/2009 he was 91 years old. He was born in Hoboken and lived many years in Union City. Vito worked in the shipping and receiving department for the Colgate Palmolive Co. in Jersey City for 34 years before retiring. He was also the United Way representative for Colgate Palmolive for many years.Vito was the beloved husband of Carmen Marie Carluccio. He was the devoted father of; Betty Le Brun, Thomas Carluccio, Denise Scalzo, Gloria Carluccio, Debra Carluccio, Diane Febles, Doreen Carluccio and Joseph Carluccio. He was the dear brother of; Dominick Carluccio, Gloria Lemke and the late Ella Di Stasio as well as the loving grandfather of 16 grand and 7 great grandchildren. He was also the dearest friend of Eleanor Kelghan.The funeral will be on Wednesday 7/29/2009 at 10am at St. Anthony Church with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home, Union City, NJ.
