Yvette Cecilia Chavez

Born in Jersey City on May 15, 1982, to surviving parents Klever and Carlota Chavez, Yvette lived in many parts of New Jersey, spending her early youth in West New York, NJ but always embracing a true nature of a Jersey girl before moving to Newark, NJ 5 years ago. Yvette was a high spirited and loving mother of three with a passion for the health industry. She was an excellent Medical Assistant, who cared and embraced anyone that touched the doors of her work place. Yvette was a dancer of life with a beautiful smile that lit up the room in every family gathering. Nothing made her more happy than to see her girls and spending her free time cruising away in a boat and the occasional trips to Atlantic City. She was a lover of music, Freestyle being her favorite genre, and enjoyed listening to Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and many more old school artist. Gone too soon but never forgotten, Yvette impacted many lives and will continue to do so even in the after life.

Survivors include her parents Klever and Carlota Chavez, daughters Selena Marie, Kayla Rose, Aaliyah Taylor Karsh, siblings Angela King (Villacres) and Kleber Yovannie Chavez-Chavez.

Yvette’s Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday, July 20, from 12-4 PM at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ.
