Alice Belle Gratteau

Alice was born on March 4, 1926 in Miami, Florida to John Albert and Essie Lee (Baxter) Hyman and passed away on March, 22, 2021 in Humble Texas. She married Robert H. Gratteau on August 11, 1946. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Robert Howard Gratteau; son Robert Gratteau; siblings Janie Fender, Annie Franks and John Hyman. She is survived by her daughter Debra Alice Chandler; son Cliff Gratteau (wife Denise); grandchildren Caleb, Joshua and Aaron Chandler; Kelly, Bobby and Jerry Gratteau; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and her sister Earnestine Gattis. Her loving smile and sweet spirit will always be greatly missed and never forgotten. We love you MAMA. Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. the funeral service will be at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
