Ann O'Connor Gassert

Ann O'Connor Gassert passed away on August 18, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born on October 10, 1925, in New York City, NY to James and Harriett Dowling O’Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Donald X Gassert; survived by her son James Daniel Gassert; daughter, Peggy Ann Negron (Aramil); grandchildren, Bridget Booth (Mike), Carolyn Gassert, Jathan Gassert, Liam Gassert and Brooke Gassert; great-grandchildren, Keegan Booth and Jaxon Booth; brothers, James O’Connor, his wife Ruth and Daniel B. O’Connor, countless nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann will be missed all. Her love and laughter brought a smile to everyone she met. Her life was enriched by her family, friends and loved ones. She was loyal to a fault, always willing to help someone in need and an ever lasting presence in our hearts. Memories of her, her smile and laughter and compassion will live on through all of us.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11:30 A.M.
