We always made plans to attend a Christian concert together...but now we will just have to wait until Christ’s return to attend the biggest concert of all. I will remember all the laughs we shared and how we worked together to keep each others spirit lifted day by day. Your smile was and is inspiring. You are a piece of “Art” that will always be fondly remembered. Until we meet again. Thank you.

Actually, I'm not sure where to begin.. But I will always remember you Art as that loving , bright smiling guy from High School, and our first date..Then meeting your parents, and the prank your dad did on me .."the 3 point push up.." that was so funny..Then Our wedding at Randolph A.F.B.. chapel.. Then you getting out of the Navy, us settling in San Antonio,tx. The most wonderful memory is when our twin daughters were born.. Yes, we had alot of good time and tough times, but what matters is you had such wonderful times with your daughter's and got to see your granddaughter Violet be born..And  you gave your life to Christ..Whom I have no doubt that your right beside him⚘💖🙏 You touched alot of hearts.. God broke the mold when you where born.. You also live in your daughter's hearts forever⚘⚘Taken too soon🕊🕊

Sergeant, I'm going to miss the conversations we shared every time we would see each other at the Randolph Clinic front desk. Your grace and humbleness is what I will miss most, THANK YOU for taking the time chat every now and then, God Speed Sir. 

Not long after Art joined the Seguin Parrot Head Club, he attended his very first Jimmy Buffett Concert with many other Parrotheads in Houston.  Always a happy guy, I SO distinctly remember walking to the show with Art, and him singing  at the top of his lungs, "I WORK OUT"  from the song "I'm sexy and I know it" ... we laughed, and laughed, and had a crazy fun weekend.  I ALWAYS loved Art, Pat, Vivian, and Valencia ... whether camping at Canyon Lake, or partying in Seguin or New Braunfels.  I will miss Art, a genuinely fun friend.

Thank you everyone that has shared their memories of our father.  They have made me laugh out loud and have warmed my heart.  I am so thankful so many lives were touched in unforgettable happy ways the way mine has been.   He would be honored and be smiling ear to ear to see such kind and honest words demonstrating the positive impact he had on so many in his lifetime. 

So many of my best qualities and the person whom I strive to be are direct reflections of my father.    Selfless, caring, loving, compassionate, silly, funny, loyal, driven and to live and love with abandon; seize the day, live life to the fullest; that was my father.   

He saw, experienced and enjoyed many countries, events, concerts, he impacted so many lives, he loved, he lost, he was born again, he worshiped, if it was broken he could fix it; he did more in his 59 years then most will do in their lifetime.  

His passing too early has made it clear to me that he really had life figured out.  He lived it his way, not trying to meet a society standard, not trying to fit in or stay within the lines.  His personality was larger than life, he stood out and lived way outside the lines of mediocrity.  Not to get attention, but to truly live and love life to the fullest.  To be in his presence was to see life and love beaming out of every pore of his body.

I am so proud and lucky to call Arthur Taylor Goss Jr my father and blessed that he watches over me everyday as my guardian angel.

Art always had a hug and a laugh to give.  No matter what was going on in the clinic, he was cheerful and got the job done.  He loved being on the lake and talked about his boat and his fun times.  I will miss those hugs and miss you.

When I First Met Art I liked him right away..that was at the same time Pat met him...he was funny...caring..and .just such a Joy to hang around with . He loved to dance...and I enjoyed dancing our cumbia's together. I have always considered Pat like a sister..so I would call Art ...brother in Law in spanish..and he would smile..and tell me how much he adored Pat.  Great guy...that was Art! I will miss you my friend

I only knew Art Jr. a very short time. But what I got to know in that short amount of time was how kind, loving, caring, and funny he was. He had a fighting spirit.  I am so sorry and can’t even imagine how hard this has been for all of you, I will continue to pray. 

I can’t put into words the type of amazing person Art was and what he meant to me.. I will forever remember his kindness and generosity and never forget his humor. You were truly a shinning light among us. Rest In Peace buddy.. you will be greatly missed.

There are no words to tell you how sorry I am, I can't even begin to express how my heart aches for y'all. Art was such a shining light in so many people's lives and will be missed by many. Valencia and Vivian have been my best friends for 21 years now and Art treated me as a daughter from day one. My favorite memory of him was going to a Kenny Chesney concert many years ago with him and the twins. Random music was playing before the concert started,  one caught his attention and he started playing the air guitar. He didn't just play it,  he rocked it and got the whole crowd in our section pumped! No one could play the air guitar like Art Goss. He was the life of the party and brought so much joy to everyone around him.  Art was a generous person and his legacy will live on through all the great work he did. I'll miss his kind words and sweet smile. Vivian,  Valencia and Goss family,  please know that I am thinking of y'all and praying for comfort.

Dad, I still can't believe your gone. I feel like it was just yesterday that you taught Val and I how to ride our bikes and swim. You were a great man and loved by many. Some knew you as the carefree spirit, full of love and joy. Some as the jokester and life of the party. Some as a Christian and child of God. But to me, you were my father. Strong, loving, loyal and witty. My protector, my teacher and my role model. You were all of these things to me and more.  I love you Daddy and I will see you again.

Arthur is preceded in death by his mother Polly E. Goss and survived by his father, Arthur T. Goss Sr., wife, Pat Goss, brother, Alan Goss, two sisters, Vicky Tomlinson and Valerie Neubauer, two daughters, Valencia and Vivian Goss and granddaughter, Violet Weidner along with many nieces and nephews.
