Carolyn Lee Cillo (Phelps), age 81, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Bulverde, Texas. Born on May 17, 1944, in Bradenton, Florida, Carolyn lived a life rooted in faith, strength, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family.
Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Larry” Cillo. Their 53 years of marriage were a beautiful testament to enduring devotion and quiet resilience. After more than eight years apart, Carolyn is now reunited with Larry in eternal peace.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children: Anthony Cillo and his wife Cynthia (Cindy), and their children, Rob Lozano and Kate Lozano; Christopher Cillo and his wife, Margaret (Marty); and Amy Magana and her husband, Alvaro (Vod), and their children, Kayla Magana Mackenthun and her husband, Kenneth, and Zachariah Magana. Carolyn was also a cherished great-grandmother to Ava, Aiden and Nicolas. Her love for her family was steadfast and unconditional, forming the foundation of her life’s purpose.
Carolyn is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Sharon Phelps. She was preceded in death by her sister Joann Lucas; her brother, Harold Phelps III; and her parents, Geraldine and Harold Phelps Jr.
Her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life. Those who knew Carolyn were touched by her sweet nature, caring heart, and positive spirit. She approached each day with grace and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hilda with Sunlight Hospice. We also wish to express heartfelt gratitude to all her church family, who were faithfully by her side whenever she was in need.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Victory Assembly of God 1017 W Byrd Blvd.
