Charlie was a U S. Air Force Veteran and was stationed in Spain. He was a long-time car salesman and was the previous owner of San Antonio Bumper Man Franchise, affectionately known as "Charlie the Bumper Man"
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eb and Nettie Fielder; maternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Heise; parents C B Fielder and Pauline Louise Heise Fielder Russell and stepfather, William C Russell.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jerryldeane; his oldest daughter, Shelley and her husband Erasto Barrera, their children, Daniel and Carly, his youngest daughter, Leanne and her husband Chris Robertson, their children, Christie, Nick, Gregory, Naomi, Jonah, Sunshine, Lucky, Clark and Sara Sophia.
His sister, Karen Wiley; niece, Deanda Williams and nephew, Jason Wiley; his Brother-in-law, Charles Monroe (Judy); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Mitch Mitchell; nephews, Roger Mitchell and Stephen Mitchell.
Charlie loved his family and friends; was generous to a fault; enjoyed meeting new people and never met a stranger. He loved laughter, telling jokes and texting funny cartoons. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends for Charles will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
