Chief Master Sergeant Chris Cochran Jr., died on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at home peacefully with his family at his bedside, he was born October 31, 1931 to Columbus Max Cochran and Hila Marguerite Wimer in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was an honor graduate at two Air Force Electronic schools outstanding airman of the year at Chicksands, Air Force Base, filled in as Chief of maintence at Chicksands Air Force Base in England. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Mrs. Betty Cochran; his is survived by his children; Cheryl Murray, David Cochran & Wife Dona, Alison McGuffey & husband Steven, Jocelyn Bushnell & husband Mark; Sister, Mary Ann Glass; Nephew, Mark Kranenburg; Niece, Trina Bostwick; Numerous Grand-children & Great-Grand-children. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 6 pm to 8pm with a service at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10am Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with honors.
