Clemente Garcia Jr.

Clemente Garcia Jr., age 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Saint Hedwig, Texas surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julia; his son, Clemente R. Garcia III and his wife, Leticia; his daughters, Nancy Garcia, Sandra Romero and Christina Molina and her husband, Rodolfo; his brother, Gerardo Garcia and wife, Diane and sister, Nelda Allen, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was a loving husband and devoted father.

He was the Operations Superintendent at Capitol Cement and retired after 43 years of service. He loved music and was a amazing trumpet player. His hobbies included reading, fishing, camping, restoring classic cars and he loved his '50 Mercury.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clemente Garcia Sr. and Tomasita Flores Garcia; his sister Irma Yolanda Brackman; his brothers Joe Salazar, George Garcia and Rogelio Garcia.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home 625 Kitty Hawk Rd. Universal City, TX 78148.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will be immediately following the Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd. San Antonio, TX 78266.
