October 20, 1935 – March 23, 2026
When retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Clinton C. Williams left his native Mississippi, he carried with him a vision for a better life—one defined by faith, education, service, and opportunity.
When he entered eternal rest at the age of 90 on March 23, 2026, in Universal City, Texas, he had fulfilled that vision—and built a legacy that will endure for generations.
Master Sergeant Williams honorably served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force, retiring from service at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. His commitment to excellence and discipline carried seamlessly into his civilian life.
Following his military retirement, he applied his skills and intellect in service to others through his work with the U.S. Census Bureau and later as a real estate broker. In that role, he became a trusted guide for military families relocating to the Randolph area, taking special care to help them transition smoothly while championing the benefits of settling in Universal City.
A lifelong learner, he continued to pursue knowledge well into adulthood, earning his master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He firmly believed that faith and education were the cornerstones of success—a belief he instilled in his children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating a ripple effect of generational achievement.
Clinton was born on October 20, 1935, in Mississippi to the late Laccie Williams and Estelle Henley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Willie, Clarence, Olivia, and Leon.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 70 years, Henrietta Williams; his children, Vicki Williams, Kathy Williams, Terence Williams, and Lisa Youngblood; and his son-in-law, Jason Youngblood. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Terence C. H. Williams, Trent Williams (spouse, Gianni), Trevor Williams, Lindsey Williams, Travis Williams, Christian Williams, Kaitlyn Youngblood, Ryan Williams, and Mia Youngblood; along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held by the family, with interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
A celebration of life honoring his remarkable journey will be held at a later date in his beloved home state of Mississippi.
