Conrado Roque, age 74, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away, surrounded by his loved ones, on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Northeast Methodist Hospital, in Live Oak, Texas. He was born on March 16, 1945, to his parents, Ernesto S. Roque and Narcissa G. Roque. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Oralia R. Mann; brother, Estanislado Berain; numerous nephews and a niece; and his beloved pet, Rufus. He is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Dalila G. Garcia; recognized son, Gilbert Garcia II; granddaughters, Alize E. Garcia and Jocelyn A. Harris-Valdez; sister, Raquel R. Ruiz; sister, Guadalupe R. Sanchez and her husband, Joe; sister, Rosa R. Mann and her husband, Fred; sister, Natalia G. Munoz and her husband, Jerry; brother-in-law, George M. Mann; brother-in-law, Gonzalo (Bill) Gonzalez ll and his wife, Berta; numerous nieces and nephews; two daughter's and three son's.
Many thanks to the doctor's and nurses of the Northeast Methodist Hospital, in the Emergency Room, Oncology, Observation Unit and Intensive Care Unit, for the treatment and care of Conrad during this illness.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home, Honor Chapel, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, Texas 78148. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Padre Pio Catholic Church, 3843 Bulverde Parkway, San Antonio, Texas 78259. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 11:30 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209.
