Daniel Vasquez Luna, age 56 of Cibolo passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born July 28, 1957 in Del Rio, Texas. Daniel served two tours in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco S. Luna. Survivors include his mother, Juanita Vasquez; son, Daniel Luna, Jr. and his wife Andrea L. Deanda; daughter, Diana Margaret Luna-Vean Meer and her husband Jos; grandchildren, Nadia Michelle Luna, Christopher Anthony Luna, and Elena Luna-Vean Meer; brothers and sisters, Rosemary Flores, Gloria Luna, Frank Luna, Jr., Eddie Luna, Joan Riviera, Jorge Vasquez; Andres Luna; Aunts, Uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 2:30 P.M. and a funeral service at 3:30 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors at 3:00 PM.
