David Larry Hunter

David Larry Hunter, age 74, of Universal City, Texas, formerly of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. David was born on October 20, 1950 to William and Irene Hunter in Columbus, Ohio. David was a devoted caregiver for over 20 years at the Coldwater Regional Center in Coldwater, Michigan.

David is preceded in death by his parents, William and Irene Hunter and siblings, Linda Hunter, Carol Ullmer and Michael Hunter.

David’s memory will continue to live on in his wife of 22 years, Kathleen Ann Hunter; sons, Jacob Hunter (wife Ashtyn) from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Corwin Hefner from Coldwater, Michigan; daughter Autumn Cousino (husband Kenneth) from Reading, Michigan; brother, William Hunter (wife Pat) from Columbus, Ohio; sister, Bonnie Strassel (husband Tom) from Glencoe, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Sharon Hunter from Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Castin Cousino, Everly Cousino, Winnie Hunter, and Osric Hunter.

The Hunter family would like to thank Ryan Bailey for his support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Salvation Army be made in David’s honor.
