Debra Ann Thompson, age 59 passed away on Monday November 12, 2018. Debra was born April 5, 1959 in Tachikawa, Japan. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. Debra was a graduate of John Jay High School in San Antonio class of 1978. Upon graduating, Debra enlisted in the United States Air Force for the next 20 years. Upon her retirement from the USAF in 1998, Debra went on to work for Wal-Mart, where she was a department manager until 2017.
Debra is survived by her children, Michelle Thompson, Michael (the cooler of the two kids) and his wife Traci Thompson, her two grandchildren Emmie and Blair Thompson, and her siblings Patricia Gibson, Keith Parrish, Janis Abernathy, Joanne Reynolds, Kevin Parrish, and Angela Motal.
She was preceded in death by her father Joe D. Parrish, mother Doreen J. Parrish, and sister Jackie Parrish.
A visitation for Debra will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas. A graveside service will occur Friday, November 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas.
