Elena P. Padilla was born on August 15, 1935 (unofficially in Greece) officially in Guatemala City, Guatemala Central America, daughter of Mario and Cristina Papahiu. She passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018, survived by her husband of 58 years, Victoriano P. Padilla and her children Jorge Victor Padilla, Ana Cristina Padilla and her husband Franz Shoaf, and Juan Carlos Padilla and his wife Rosa Linda Padilla; her three grandsons, Jacob Brandon Garcia, Eriq Matthew Padilla and Daniel Alexander Padilla. Elena was a proud Army wife who retired from the United States Army Logistic Civil Service. She was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
