He was survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosa Marie Welkley Perry, and four children, June Jackson of Canton, Arkansas; Jackie Bishop (Mike) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jennifer Edwards (Bryan) of San Antonio, Texas; Elmer Perry, Jr., (Jodi) of Leicester, North Carolina; his brothers Jack Perry (Mary) of Springdale, Arkansas and Tommy Perry (Irma) of West Fork, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Orville Joe and Lydia Ann Pense Perry, his siblings, Delphia Robinson, Lee Perry, Richard Perry and James Perry.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Northeast Baptist Church, 2578 N. Oakland Zion Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
