Esmeralda was born in Del Rio, Texas on January 3rd, 1963, to Joe Rosas Sr. and Late Martha V Rosas. A 1981 Graduate from Del Rio HS where she was on the Dance team as a Ramette. It was there where she met the love of her life, Eddie Luna. They wed and moved to San Antonio, Texas, where they began their adventure as a U.S. Air Force family.
Esmeralda was a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. A proud military spouse for 20 years, always putting her children first. She loved her family with all her heart and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. They were her treasure. She loved to go antique shopping, dancing, singing, gardening, bingo, the hallmark channel, and riding on the slingshot. Esmeralda (Ms. E) devoted her last couple of years as a Special Needs School Bus Monitor at Randolph Field ISD where she cared for and loved her students. A wonderful woman who was kind, loving and caring will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Arnoldo Rosas.
