Eugene I. Halbach passed away on December 14, 2013 at the age of 79. He was born on January 30, 1934 in St. John, WI to Raymond and Mary (Marx) Halbach. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan D. Halbach; survived by his sons, Henry Halbach, Brad Halbach, Douglas Halbach, and Craig Halbach; daughters, Catherine Heasley, Linda Lalley and Michelle Burleson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2012 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 P.M.
