Gabriel O. Juarez

Gabriel O. Juarez went to be with our Lord on June 7, 2011. He was born on March 18, 1922 in Harlingen, TX. He is preceded in death by his daughter Viola J. Carrington. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Juanita “Nane” O. Juarez. His sons Gabe Juarez , Jr his wife Gloria and Jesus Armando “Mando” Juarez. Seven grandchildren Christine, J. Armando, Gabriel Orlando, Gabe III, and Greg Juarez, John and Alyssa Carrington. Three Great-Grandchildren Alexandria Juarez-Smith, Eve and Ben Dollins, Three sisters, Carolina Galban, Lupita Alvarado, Carmen Lopez and a brother, Domingo Juarez along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gabriel was a United States Army Veteran, a life member of the V.F.W. of Schertz, TX, and belonged to the Catholic War Veterans post 1082 since 1965. He was retired Civil Service with Randolph Air Force Base. Gabe was a devoted Catholic, a loving family man, and a man of great integrity. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. A Rosary will be recited on June 9, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 501 North St. Converse, Texas 78109. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. Entombment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:30 A.M. with military honors.
