Greg was one of my best friends in high school.  His favorite car that he owned at that time was a AMC blue javelin.  After high school we both hired on at Brown and Root in Lagrange working on the power plant that was being built there.  If there is anyone with a bigger heart than Greg, I have never met such a person.  RIP Greg. 

I am just finding this out and I’m heartbroken. I had seen Greg in UC a year prior when he came to my restaurant I had just opened. We spent some time at his house and went through the yearbooks.I think Greg and I both were clowns and I can see him now at school. All the girls liked Greg. He came over once to my house when we were young and he gave my mother some polished rocks. I miss him and please know I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you get this message

I have known Greg since high school and can recall the fun times we had in San Antonio.
He was always a good friend and loved to joke around.  
I know that we were all a hand full for our parents back then, but I will always cherish those times of growing up together.  
 
Hearing Joe's account of Greg's antics at the Celebration Of Life service yesterday brought back to me our times together with our friends, Roland, Charlie, Marty, Raul, and others. 

But I was also happy and proud to hear about the man Greg became, his devotion to his church and parents.
I will always remember Greg.

Hey Greg, I haven't seen you in a really long time, but I can still remember your voice today just like it was yesterday.  You were a good friend in High School and I always enjoyed talking to you.  Always will remember the fun times hanging around together. Hey Man, We'll meet again someday.

Al and Vickie, we are so sorry for your loss, I will miss Greg and his teasing me about being small he would call me "Shorty" and he helped me when I was having problems in the Yard with the grass dying And told me To stop watering it at night and make sure to water first thing in the morning, so I took his advice and it worked. We will truly miss him and our thoughts and prayers are with you

Wile family, Greg was inspirational in his faithfulness as a friend and a Cornerstone usher.  We also admired his faithfulness as a son to his beautiful parents and as a gentle and strong soul who never seemed to have a "down" day.  Please know that God has used your whole family as a witness to how we should conduct our lives in all circumstances.  We continue to lift you up for God's peace and assurance.

I remember Greg very well from high school.  He was always positive and well liked.  I feel such pain for the Wile family right now but I know that I know that Greg is with our Lord Jesus as we speak and he is in a much better place now.

Greg was a very special person and I always enjoyed talking with him.  I would meet him on my walks through the neighborhood and he was always friendly and polite. My son, John, who lives in Portland, Oregon went to school with Greg and he considered him as one of his best friends.  We extend our sympathy and condolences, but the Lord must surely have a very special plan for Greg.

When Michelle called today with the account of Gregie's tragic accident, I was overwhelmed with grief for both of you.  Greg was a wonderful, loyal, gentle and loving son.  He was one of our Bitburg Babies.  My deepest condolences go out to all of his brothers and sister, but especially to you both.  He is surely with the angels and helping them with all his artistic talents.  He was truly a wonderful example of his phenomenal parents.  With deepest sympathy.

Greg was a very special guy at always had a smile and a strong handshake for everyone.  I don't think there was anything that could get him down.  He truly touched all he met and will be missed by the same.  

I have no doubt he's watching over his family even now, smiling and at peace.

I am the daughter of Joe Hernandez, Greg's best friend and I would like to give my condolences.  I only met Greg a few times but the stories my dad tells me give me a vivid imagination of the type of man and true friend he was.  He will be greatly missed.  My prayers are with you all.

To his family, I will never forget Greg, him teaching me to pole vault in your backyard in Deer Valley. Or us making sure no dirt was on the GTO. Many years have gone by, but his smile, his wit, and his way of making things work, will be remember by the many lives he touched. I will keep all in my prayers, and may your hearts be lifted by those kind things he did for all.

I was shocked to learn of the loss and still find it hard to believe.  Greg and I did alot of grewing up together. We bounded in so many ways that its hard to realize that he has left this world. Gosh, it seems like it was yesterday that we were hanging out in our teen years.  His passing will be mourned by myself and family who loved him so much.

I remember very well the day I met Greg in 1970 when his oldest brother married my sister. They lived in Deer Valley (with real deer!) and he had the coolest rocks that had diamonds and emeralds inside. (I was 8). My thoughts are with Mr & Mrs Wile and all his brothers and sister and all his nieces and nephews. When I saw Greg 3 years ago when my Dad passed, he still had that same devilish grin, and his big heart and spirit had not diminished at all. I am blessed to have known him.

Dear Wile family, 

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Greg was a special man and I am proud to have known him.  I will miss his ever-constant smile.

I will miss Greg trying to 'pull the wool over my eyes' with some story or inviting me to rake the leaves on 'his side' of the street. He always had a smile and a chuckle to share. My thoughts are with his family.
