CPL Guadalupe Martinez, U.S. Army, Veteran passed away on May 15, 2012 at the age of 96. He was born on March 17, 1916 in Weslaco, Tx to Fernando and Julia Correa Martinez. Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents; survived by his children, Lupe Yount, Mary Rodriguez, Frank Martinez, Lupe Martinez, Navia Aguilar and Jerry Martinez, brother, Fernando Martinez; and 15 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 12:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
