

Jimmy Leon White, born January 7, 1964 in Waco, Texas, departed this life after a long battle with stage 4 lung cancer on March 22, 2015 at the age of 51. Jimmy is reunited with his mother, Lowellan White, and his dog and best friend, Luke. Jimmy is survived by his parents, John and Christy White, and his sister Daiquiri Fennell and husband, Don; and sister Ashley St. Clair and husband, Cat. He is also survived by his loving nieces, and nephews Heather, Joshua, Johnathan, Haysel, CJ, and Kiko. Jimmy is also survived by great nieces Brianna and Jammie. A special thank you to his cousin Shanna Hannah for all of the support and help during the past year. Jimmy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1982. He joined the Navy right out of high school and served for 4 years aboard the John F. Kennedy. After the Navy he went back to school to get his degree in engineering from St. Phillip’s College to pursue his passion for architecture. Jimmy found employment at Kinetics Consulting Engineering but over time those who started off as coworkers became close friends and a valuable part of his life. Jimmy was a genuinely loving person and affected the lives of many. He will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:15 am.
