Juan Garcia De Leon Jr.

Juan G. De Leon, Jr., “Mr. D” went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 9, 2015. Juan was born on May 6, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Juan Garcia De Leon, Sr. and Felicita Garcia. “Mr. D” was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Juan served his country as member of the United States Air Force. He was a member of American Legion Post 539, in St. Hedwig, Texas, as well as the Knights of Columbus of St. Monica’s Catholic Church, and Union Mutua Universal in Universal City, Texas

Juan is preceded in death by his parents Juan Garcia De Leon, Sr. and Felicita Garcia, two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Aurora G. De Leon; his four children; Rhonda Serna, Randy De Leon, Ralph De Leon, and Raul De Leon; his seven grandchildren; Jonathan Garza, Jacob De Leon, Jessica De Leon, Laura Serna, Daniel Serna, Jr., Ruben Serna, and Lisa Serna; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Zailey Garza. Juan is also survived by three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:30am at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30pm on Monday, April 20, 2015.
