In 1961, Leroy met Martha, the love of his life and they were married on May 30, 1964. Leroy and Martha moved to Alief, Texas and started a family in 1965.
Leroy loved cooking, hunting, fishing, and being a dad, father in law, and grandpa. His greatest joy in life was his family, Gwen and Frank, Sandi and Jon, Ashley, Tyler, Austin, Zach, and Kate. His greatest gift was making people smile, knowing they were loved and caring unconditionally.
In 1999, Leroy retired from Shell Oil Company where he had worked as a Chemist for over 30 years. In his retirement, he and Martha moved to Schertz, Texas and spent their time playing with grandkids, cows, horses, and their dogs.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
