Lucy L. DiPiero passed away on November 25, 2013 at the age of 97. She was born on May 5, 1916 in Youngstown, OH to Ralph and Adeline “Del Monico” Marinelli. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 59 years, Phil M. DiPiero; daughter, Bonnie Schulze; son-in-law, David Schulze; survived by her son John DiPiero, his wife Darla; daughter, Louise Myers, her husband Gary; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. and funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to St. Monica’s Catholic Church general fund.
